Chooi is absolutely wonderful and she is a great instructor. I highly recommend her. My son has been with her for the past 2 years (5 to 7 years old). Chooi is amazingly patient and pleasant. She *always* has a big genuine smile. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has developed all aspects of music including sight reading, music theory, technique, etc.  My son absolutely loves her and the amount of progress has been incredible!!!

 My son Fedor started piano at age 6 with Chooi, took lessons for a year until age 7. It was an amazing experience, Chooi is the warmest person and the most caring about my child's development. She knows how to inject a love for music, while strictly monitoring the progress of the student. Chooi est une prof extraordinaire. Elle est très organisée pendant le cours et la façon qu'elle indique les devoirs à la maison est très claire et facile à suivre. Egalement elle fait son cours très attractif pour mon enfant de 9 ans qui n'est jamais venu en contact avec la musique auparavant et qui est maintenant passionné. Il fait de progress visible d'un cours à l'autre. La prof fait un suivi très utile avec nous, les parents, après chaque cours et s'assure de la compréhension des nouveaux concepts par son élève. Sa méthode est complète et stimulante et ça donne des vrais résultats. On l'apprecie beaucoup! Chooi is an amazing piano teacher and has been just fantastic for our 10-year old son. She takes great care to ensure good habits from the start, is keenly aware of what each student needs to focus on and provides just the right amount of challenge so that the student progresses quickly without getting discouraged. She is particularly great with kids, thanks to her patience, a wonderful sense of humor and a bottomless bag of tricks to make kids enjoy their lessons while focusing on technique and expression. Our son was a bit reluctant before we started, but now he looks forward to his lessons every week and enjoys playing the piano when his friends come over. We are amazed how much he has learned with Chooi and think that maybe we’d like to take some lessons with her as well!
